A Sweet Reunion, Sad Goodbye, & Visit to the E.R.

Dad and Susan came for a short visit last weekend, then we all traveled to Mountain Home, Arkansas together. While they were here we went to the Rainforest Cafe, and to IKEA. Dad was trying to teach Brenton to play pool.
Brily decided that she wanted to play also. We left to head to Arkansas, but not before the ritual stop to Cracker Barrel.
A few nights after we were in Arkansas we all gathered to have dinner together at Fred's Fish House.
This was the view from the deck of the restaurant.
My Aunts friends had a dinner for us all at their house on the lake. This is a picture of all of the family.

This was Avery and Brily on the deck behind their house. It was a really pretty view.

Amberly and Brenton got to meet a new cousin. This is Drake.
I thought this was so cute, so I had to take a picture. This is my Aunts post office.
Now for the sweet and sad. I got to see Nannie again , and I'm pretty sure that she knew who I was. She smiled at me, and she laughed. She lit up when she saw Amberly, Brenton and the girls. But for the sad , this would probably be our last visit. It was very hard for all of us to say goodbye. I love Nannie very much.

We had to head back home, and on the way we made a few stops. This was a dam outside of Eureka Springs.

This was a huge walking stick next to Robin's foot.
Here is a view from a lookout.
This is for Dad. We came across this monster moth at a rest stop. It was about 1/2 a foot wide.
One last stop on the way home. Avery had been getting a little sick, so we called her doctor to explain what was going on, and they told us to take her to get checked out. We took her to a local E.R., and she had to get an i.v.. They had to wrap her in a sheet to get the i.v. in. It was so sad and emotional. She is doing ok now, we are just monitoring her till Monday, if she isn't better, or if she isn't taking fluids we have to take her in to her doctor.
We had a wonderful time. A happy reunion, a sad goodbye, and a trip to the emergency room. Very eventful, a trip we will never forget.

What a trip! One last fun family trip before school starts! I am so sorry that Nannie is not doing well. I am glad you got to go visit her.
