Rudolph Musical

On Tuesday Brenton's class went to Fort Worth to see Rudolph the musical. It was really good. Brenton was so excited he clapped and sang and danced the whole time. After the musical they had lunch. This is Brenton's best friend Justin. I'm so glad that they got to go. This was a really good field trip.

Santa and Mrs. Clause

On the 13th we had a get together with the Moms of Multiples group. Santa and Mrs. Clause were there. Avery and Brily were not going to have any part of Santa at all, so Robin had to get in the picture. Maybe next year they wont mind. Santa and Mrs. Clause had a very involved conversation with Amberly and Brenton. There was also a breakfast, games, and crafts. It was a lot of fun. I am really glad that I joined this group.

A Christmas celebration

Robert, Susan, Blake, and Barrett came to our house on the 6th for our community Christmas celebration. It was really cold that night too. Robin, Robert, and the girls played the cake walk. I'm am so glad that Robin won after only 3 tries. Last time he played 6 rounds, and still walked away with nothing. It was a really good cake that we all took back to the house and enjoyed later on in the evening. The babies stayed all bundled up that night.

Amberly, Brenton, and Blake had a blast dancing. It was a great night with cake, hot chocolate, dancing, games, and family.

Singing at Six Flags

On the 5th Amberly's choir class was singing at Six Flags. It was so cold that night. I would recommend to go in December if you want to go though, because there were no lines. We had yummy hot chocolate. It was so rich and creamy, not the watered down kind.

Robin, Amberly, and her friends sledded down the snow hill.

Here is Amberly and a couple of her friends with Frosty the Snowman.

We all had a cold but great time. The kids all performed really well.

Oh Christmas Tree ....

We went to get our Christmas tree on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. We went to Flowermound to a really pretty farm to get it. It was however our most expensive tree ever purchased at $80. Sorry, but all of the pictures are backwards. We had to get a gate to go around it to keep the girls out.

The kids posing in their new Christmas pajamas.

It was soooo cold! The kids wanted to sit in these buckets for the tractor train ride.

Here are all of them in front of the tree that we all picked out.

Brenton's Birthday

My oh my, how busy I have been. Do you ever have weeks like that where you don't have a minute to yourself? Well it sure has felt like that lately. Wednesday was Brenton's birthday, and I made 2 dozen cupcakes to take to his school. I got this idea for the cupcakes from another blog. Well I took the cupcakes to Brenton's school for his his party, but sorry there are no pictures. After the party was all over I realized that my memory card had been full, and I had not got one picture. Here is a picture of the six leftover cupcakes. After dinner Brenton went on a scavenger hunt for his presents. It started in the living room under a chair cushion.

It led to under the pool table,
On the steering wheel in the car,

On the jug of milk, and a few other places around the house, then ended by the fire place.

He got a leapster 2 hand held video game system and some games to go with it. He also got some gift cards and an outfit.

Aunt Amber sent him this robot, but I think the girls were way more interested in what it was.

He made a wish, blew out the candles, and we had the last six cupcakes. Happy 6TH Birthday Brenton!!!!!

Let's Party!!!!

We took Brenton and a couple of his friends to Gatti Town to celebrate his birthday on Saturday. They played air hockey, and it took a couple of dads to figure out the race car game.

Brenton was a natural at dancing. Cool as usual during a roller coaster ride.

They all absolutely loved the bumper cars! Brenton's friend really likes Star Wars, and they found the game.

Brenton got some really great gifts, and enjoyed a motor cycle ride. He had a great night with his friends!

These boots are made for walking.....

Happy Halloween

We decided to stay around the house last night and take the kids trick-or-treating. We went off with Cruella DeVille, a couple of Dalmatians, and a ninja. The girls were not real happy with their puppy ears. The ears were touching their faces.

We only went to maybe 20 houses just around our block, and this was all the candy we came home with! I think that Robin is going to have to take quite a bit to work with him.

After we got home Amberly had to shower to wash all the color out of her hair. This morning when we woke up, and her hair was dry this is what we had to deal with. For those of you who don't know, Amberly is extremely tender headed. This is going to be fun! What a wild night!!!!

2 week catch up

I've been really busy the last couple of weeks, so below are four postings of the last couple of weeks.

A new room

Brenton and the girls switched bedrooms, so I wanted to paint it for them first. I wanted it to look like a child drew it. I love how it turned out. The girls love it too. They just point at things and laugh.

Cupcake fever!

We have gone cupcake crazy in this house! I made for dinner the other night meatloaf cupcakes with mashed potato frosting. They were so yummy. We had leftover frosting from the fall festival cupcakes so I baked some more, and let the kids decorate them. They had a blast.

School cupcakes

I was asked to make some cupcakes for Amberly and Brenton schools fall festival. I made pumpkins and spiders. I'm really proud of myself, I worked hard on these.

One Busy Saturday!

Ok, everything is backwards so bare with me. A couple of Saturdays ago we had a really eventful day. It started with haircuts for the boys, then McKinney Tades Day, a birthday party, then we topped it off with our community fall festival. We all had a great time, and got great sleep that night!
