Shiver me Timbers!!

It was pirate day at school so the kids got all dressed up. I had Brenton's Captain Hook costume still, and we added a bandanna to make him a pirate. Amberly decided that morning that she wanted to be a pirate also. We had to southern engineer one for her, but I think that it worked out. They had a blast at school, and had to talk like pirates all day. Arrrgg, Matees!!!

Things we do

This is a few things that the girls like to do during the day while Amberly and Brenton are at school. The girls love to ride on their scooters.They also love to play in the empty laundry basket.
More scooter play after lunch.
They love to help with laundry and watch the clothes spin. I have to watch them though because the other day they were helping me put clothes in the laundry, and when the clothes were done I was putting them in the dryer, and I pulled hangers out of the washer.
Every day is different, but these are a few things that haven't changed. I'm glad that they have each other and play so well together. Well, most of the time. Ha!Ha!Ha!

Evening with the McIntire's

On Thursday we went to Robert and Susan's house for dinner. It is always nice to get to see them, and catch up on things. The kids all had a good time. Avery and Brily loved playing with all of Barrett's toys while he sat and watched them.
They also enjoyed some of Blake's toys.
After a quick clean up of Blake's toys I snapped a quick pic of Brenton and Blake. Blake had to pose and lean over in Brenton's lap. Too Cute!!!!

This year at school the 4th and 5th graders have to pick an extra curricular activity to do. Amberly picked choir. She had to audition along with several other students. Only 15 students out of the whole 4th grade made it, and she was one of them. Congratulations Amberly, we are so proud of you!

I spoke to soon

Well, I just said how Avery hardly ever falls asleep in the car, and yesterday she did. We were on our way home from church, and she fell asleep with a cracker in her mouth. It did not fall out the whole way. I had to take it out of her mouth when we got home. It was so funny!

Sleepy kids

For some reason the other day three of my kids were all very sleepy. Avery hardly ever falls asleep even in the car. Amberly and Brenton had been playing in her bedroom after dinner, and I went in at about 7:30 to get them ready for bed, and they were both already asleep on Amberly's bed. They must of had an exhausting day at school. I was feeding Brily and Avery lunch, and Brily just passed out. I really don't know why she was so sleepy, maybe she didn't get her morning nap out. It was so funny. I caught a little clip of her head tossing before my camera went dead.
