State Fair of Texas

On Thursday we took the kids to the fair. We all had a blast as always! We went through Little Hands On the Farm. The kids really enjoy this, but sadly this was Amberly's last year to get to participate.

The girls got a kick out of the baby Bordon cow. It was licking their toes. One of our family favorites is always World on a String! Brenton was so excited about the puppets.
The kids didn't have much to say about the Midway Barker, they just stared at him.
The gardens were full of butterflies this year. It was so nice to just relax and walk through the gardens. Amberly and I have decided that we are going to make our own secret garden.
Big Tex is sporting some new duds. The trains were around him this year, which Brenton loved!

Brenton absolutely loves tractors! Well, he loves anything with wheels.
Every year there is a big pig. This year there was this one, he weighs over 1200 pounds!
We couldn't have a visit to the fair without seeing all of the cars!
